Proudly called the "Birthplace of the Republican Party", the City of Ripon, Wisconsin is a thriving community of 7,619 residents located in the heart of Wisconsin in Fond du Lac County. Ripon is served by highways 23 and 49 and is minutes away from state highway 41. Incorporated in 1858, Ripon provides the conveniences of larger urban communities with a friendly rural character. Our city is attractive to residents because of the diverse shopping opportunities in its historic downtown and convenient highway business district, a strong industrial base that provides a variety of work experiences, a local hospital offering a full range of health services, a beautiful park system and walking trails, a first-rate public school system and a private liberal arts college that attracts students from all over the nation and world. Many of our community functions are tour bus destinations and Ripon is a landmark for aircraft during the Experimental Aircraft Association Fly-in in Oshkosh. Click here for more about Ripon.
