Ripon Public Library - Facility Master Planning
The Ripon Public Library in Ripon, WI, is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to develop a Master Plan for their facility.

Uses: all functions related to providing library services to Ripon and the greater community of library users.

Purpose: To address the aging infrastructure and evolving needs of the library due to technological advancements and increased digital collections. The Master Plan aims to guide future maintenance, improvements, and potential replacements within the library's 28,000 square feet facility, originally built in 1972 with an addition in 1997.

- Scope of Work: Consultants are expected to assess current conditions, meet with library stakeholders, and integrate existing strategic and renovation plans into a comprehensive Master Plan. Recommendations will cover improvements, maintenance, and potential remodeling, with a detailed capital improvement plan and phased implementation strategy.
- Deliverables: The chosen consultant must deliver a final Master Plan document including a phased implementation schedule, cost estimates, narrative descriptions, visual examples, and potential funding sources. A final presentation to library staff and the board of trustees is required for acceptance and integration with existing library initiatives.
- RFP Submittal Requirements: Proposals must include qualification details, a technical proposal outlining project approach and scope of work, a cost proposal detailing project expenses, and adherence to specific submission guidelines including deadlines and format.
- Method of Selection: Evaluation of proposals will be conducted by the Library Director, staff, and board of trustees, with the final decision made by majority vote at a public meeting.
- Terms and Conditions: The library retains rights to all materials submitted, and proposals must comply with all RFP requirements to be considered. Rejected proposals may include those deemed conditional, incomplete, or not in the library's best interest. Consultants should understand that expenses incurred in proposal preparation will not be reimbursed.
