The Community Budget Feedback Form is designed to collect input from the community regarding the upcoming 2027 City of Ripon budget. This feedback will be reviewed by City staff to help inform budget priorities and address community questions and comments.
The City of Ripon provides additional resources on its website, available at www.cityofripon.com/budgetsummary. There, you can find information about the annual city budget and other financial information.
City operations are generally organized into the following categories:
- General Government: Administration, human resources, communications, finance, city clerk, elections, and municipal court.
- Public Safety: Police, fire protection, and emergency medical services.
- Public Works: Street and sidewalk maintenance, snow and ice removal, stormwater management, solid waste and recycling services, and city facility maintenance.
- Parks, Recreation, and Library Services: Park maintenance, recreational programming, forestry, and library operations.
- Community and Economic Development: Planning, zoning, building inspection, code enforcement, and business development.
Please note that the City of Ripon is not responsible for the operations or budgeting decisions of other overlying taxing jurisdictions, including the Ripon Area School District, Fond du Lac County, Moraine Park Technical College, or any state or federal agencies. These entities operate independently of the City and set their own budgets, tax levies, and policies.
