Ripon Code Connect - New Way to Support Code Enforcement Activities
Ripon Code Connect supports the City’s goal of shifting code enforcement activities to a centralized digital system – saving time, improving communication, and enhancing overall service delivery.
“Ripon Code Connect helps us take care of our community by making it easier for residents to connect with Code Enforcement Officials,” said City Administrator Adam Sonntag. “This tool strengthens our existing code enforcement activities and enhances communication with our residents to ensure timely compliance.”
Through Ripon Code Connect, residents can report a wide range of community concerns and service needs, including but not limited to:
- Property and Neighborhood Issues: weeds and overgrown lawns, trash and debris, junk or inoperable vehicles, vacant or blighted buildings, graffiti
- Streets and Infrastructure: potholes, damaged or missing street signs, street light outages, sidewalks, snow and ice concerns
- Parking and Vehicles: parking concerns, unregistered or improperly parked vehicles
- Planning, Building, and Development: building permits, inspections, housing concerns, construction projects, and planning and development
Reports can be submitted 24/7, either anonymously or through a registered account, and include location details to help City staff respond efficiently. The system enables better tracking and consistent enforcement of City ordinances while strengthening communication between residents and City staff.
