Sewer Maintenance Operations Begin May 18th

Beginning Monday, May 18, the City of Ripon will begin sewer cleaning and televising operations in the southern portion of the city, as part of our ongoing wastewater system maintenance program.

Residents in the affected area may notice:

• Sewer crews working in streets and neighborhoods

• Temporary noise from equipment

• Occasional odors during the cleaning process

• Possible pressure changes in household plumbing

To help prevent any issues inside your home, residents are asked to:

Keep toilet lids closed when not in use during the cleaning process

Ensure basement floor drains contain water

Report any unusual plumbing concerns to the City promptly

This preventative maintenance helps identify and address potential issues in the sewer system before they become larger problems.
