Street Tree Planting Program

 
In an effort to restore the beauty of our city after recent storms and infestations, we're thrilled to introduce the Street Tree Planting Program.

How it Works
  • Get a Free Tree: The City of Ripon will provide a street tree at no cost to you.
  • Help Us Plant It: Our city staff will assist you with planting the tree in the boulevard area in front of or beside your property.
  • Adopt & Care: Once planted, you’ll take on the role of “tree adopter,” which means you’ll help water and care for the tree as it grows.


Details to Note

  • One Tree per Property: Due to high demand, we’re limiting it to one tree per household.
  • First Come, First Served: Available while supplies last.
  • Boulevard Space: The city will check if there’s enough room in your boulevard for the new tree.
  • The city reserves the right to deny any request based on any factors they deem necessary.
