Pursuant to Wis. Stats. §§ 66.4325 and 66.436, there is hereby created a community development authority (CDA) to be known as the "Ripon community development authority," authorized to transact business and exercise any and all powers granted to a CDA under the community development authority law as amended from time to time for the purpose of carrying out blight elimination, slum clearance, urban renewal programs and projects and housing projects. The CDA is designed to promote community development and undertake projects that contribute to the growth and enhancement of neighborhoods and local economies.
